How is a provider chosen for me (or my child)?
Our office staff knows which provider fits your needs, taking in Payor source, provider availability and schools they may attend.
Who do I contact to initiate services for myself or family members?
Contact us at 262-337-9770 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Identify that you are interested in receiving services for yourself, spouse, or other family members. You will be asked to provide some basic information. If you have insurance, you will be asked for information available on your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, state that you will be a cash pay client.
Who do I contact with billing questions or issues with insurance reimbursement?
Gals Institute has recently taken our billing in-house. Email us at billing@galsinstitute for any of our insurance questions.

What can I expect?
We understand that seeking help is and can be stressful, we are here to help. When you contact Gals Institute a trained mental health provider will complete an initial assessment to help connect you with the best provider that will fit your needs.

Check out the "Our Team" page to get more information on our staff. If you see a provider that you feel is a good fit, let us know. We will see if they are an option for you and your needs.
How frequently will I (or my child) see my/their therapist, and typically for how long?
We understand that families have to navigate busy schedules. As an important service to increase and maintain mental wellness, your provider will be able to provide recommendations that are congruent to service needs of the patient and family.
​Are there missed appointment/cancellation fees?
Yes, as we are still navigating the increased need for mental health services, Gals Institute providers require 24 hours notice to cancel any scheduled appointments without a fee charged.

Don't worry, we send an email reminder 48 hours before your appointment to help alleviate missed or forgotten appointments.
