Gals on the Go Project
Growing * Adolescent * life * skills
Funds raised will be used to offer individual scholarships to those who can’t afford mental health support and for schools and organizations who do not have funds in their budgets to provide socio-emotional education.

Since our inception in 2018, Gals on the Go Project has reached more than 1000 boys and girls in Waukesha County through our resiliency-based workshops.
Any donation big or small is needed and appreciated in order to sustain our programs. Depression and anxiety are on the rise and the pressure on our kids is intensifying. Prevention of mental health struggles is our goal. We want to help children and adolescents build a toolbox of healthy coping strategies, self-compassion, and resiliency.
Help us, help them become stronger, more resilient, more engaged leaders in our community.
Please consider a donation today and be a part of Gals on the Go Project.

DEANNA MARINCIC, MSW LCSW
Our nonprofit was founded by Deanna Marincic. Deanna is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist who has been working in the mental health field treating individuals, families, and adolescents for over 25 years with all levels of care. She is the founder of Gals Institute LLC, a collaborative group of licensed clinicians providing therapy services, resiliency-building workshops, one-day events, and support groups in the Lake Country Area. Deanna has worked extensively in addiction, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, family and couples work, co-parenting, and behavioral management skill building. Deanna’s experience also includes working with individuals experiencing grief, loss, and terminal illness. Her greatest calling lies in helping individuals heal from their past trauma and forge a path of strength and emotional growth. Deanna along with a team of likeminded skilled providers, launched mental health programs in 8 local school districts in 2015. Deanna and her team provide staff development, district support, school wide initiatives related to resiliency building and help schools destigmatize mental health and bridge services to families in the district. Deanna has been developing workshops that now have grown into a series of programs that are beneficial for kids six years and up. These resiliency building programs help develop confidence, self-esteem and social emotional skills to carry on in life. This trademarked prevention and resiliency building workshops use research based modalities in a engaging interactive multifaceted way to help support the whole family system. In 2017 after the demand for the workshops expanded, she founded Gals On The Go Project Foundation. The foundation’s goal is to continue to offer these positive impact programs to the community and school settings for no charge, with the support of generous donors, fundraising and grants. Today we have a incredible board of directors who volunteer their time and expertise to direct our mission and lead our fundraising efforts. Join our mission and support Gals On The Go Project!   Deanna promotes prevention and healing in her work with clients and trains new clinicians in the same way. She was an Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation (OPEF) board member 2013-2014 and President 2014-2016, and proudly awarded the 2017 Woman in Business of the Year by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce. Deanna continues as an active member of the Oconomowoc and Delafield Chamber of commerce where she collaborates with other like minded business leaders committed to the emotional health of our community. As a sought after presenter, Deanna brings her down to earth personality to educate the community on issues such as socio-emotional adolescent development, anxiety, resiliency building, parenting, and treatment of addictions.
